Fish Festival in Anguillara Sabazia

The historic Fish Festival of Anguillara Sabazia returns on 13 and 14 June, recognised by Unpli as a quality festival.

The event aims to celebrate the territory, tradition and taste in the wonderful lake scenario with fried food and traditional fish specialities, shows and music.

Organised by Pro Loco Anguillara Sabazia 2007 A.P.S., the event represents one of the most anticipated appointments of the lake summer, able to unite gastronomy, culture and conviviality.

The protagonists of the festival are the lake fish, such as coregone, persico and latterino, prepared according to the ancient recipes of the local tradition. Alongside the fish specialities, the public can enjoy dishes of peasant cuisine and typical sweets, immersed in an animated atmosphere of music, shows and initiatives dedicated to the territory and lake life.
